Have Questions? Find Your Answers
Offer one new allergen at a time, starting with a small amount and building up over a few days, so you know what caused any reaction. Allermix introduction kits do this for you, with pre-measured packets that increase gradually over five days per allergen.
Stir the day's packet into a food your baby already eats without problems, such as yogurt, purée, oatmeal or infant cereal, and serve it as usual.
Allermix uses whole egg, with both the white and yolk, dried into a fine powder that mixes easily into your baby's familiar foods. How egg is prepared can affect how a baby reacts, so if your baby has severe eczema or has reacted to egg before, talk to your health care provider before starting.
Keep each allergen in your baby's diet at least weekly. You can use an Allermix maintenance kit, everyday foods, or both.
Each Allermix packet and pouch contains only the single food listed and is packed in an SQF compliant facility with strict allergen controls. Always check your package label for allergen information.
Talk to your health care provider if your baby has severe eczema, a diagnosed food allergy, or has reacted to a food before. Guidelines recommend early introduction for these higher-risk babies too, so don't delay.
